#331 ASSIGNMENT: VALERIE JARDIN #4

Today's assignment is the fourth set by, as I describe her within the show, most prolific assignment setter so far of this series, Valérie Jardin. It's a challenge set for the next seven days; a way to think differently about how you approach making your pictures. We'll both be fascinated to see what you come up with, so email what you make to stories@photowalk.show

My thanks to MPB.com who sponsor this show; the number one company in the UK, the US and Europe when it comes to buying, selling, and trading quality used camera kit online – it’s a safe place to do business, with guarantees upon what you buy and a sustainable way to trade in the circular economy.

Also my sincere thanks to our wonderful patrons, our ‘Extra Milers’ who help to support this show.

Valérie Jardin gives Paris as an example within her assignment show today. The picture to the left is the silhouette referenced.

I was on a photo walk around London when I listened to the latest assignment. Having worked in London for 34 years, St Paul’s Cathedral has become a very familiar landmark. Trying to find a unique way to photograph this iconic building was challenging to say the least! I have attached one of several photos taken from the Tate Modern cafe.
